Albany Tennis Academy
 

Albany Tennis Academy is situated 450km south of Perth and is the largest tennis academy in the Lower Great Southern of Western Australia. Albany Tennis Academy is one of the largest tennis academies in regional Western Australia.

Merrifield Park Tennis Club is the home club of Albany Tennis Academy, boasting four newly resurfaced Rebound Ace tennis courts.

The Merrifield Park Tennis Club is the only private tennis club in Albany and is situated on the corner of Little Oxford Street and Wolfe Road, Albany.

Albany Tennis Academy also operates its programs from the following venues:

  • Denmark Tennis Club;
  • Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre (ALAC)
  • Mount Barker Tennis Club;
  • Kendenup Tennis Club;
  • Manypeaks Tennis Club.

As well as private courts throughout the City of Albany.

  • Robert Partington - Had an outstanding tournament in perth in October reaching the finals of the boys 16s singles. Partington also reached the 18s doubles final of the same event.
  • ATA players held a 5hr tennis-a-thon over the weekend as a fundraiser for their 2009 NSW and VIC Tennis Tour.
    Players gained a minimum 10 sponsors to sponsor them for $2 per hour and then played matches for 5 hrs straight.  The players raised over $1700 for the tour.

Player of the Month - Robert
Jacob Crowe (12) was picked to play for WA in the 2007 Bruce Cup held in Tasmania. Jake also played No 1 in our undefeated 2008 A Grade junior Pennant team.
