Robert Partington (15) had a sensational start to 2008 with awesome results at events in Adelaide, SA, Benella and Wodonga, VIC and Albury, NSW. He carried that form back home in WA as part of his Club's undefeated Senior A grade pennant team.

Fellow junior Jacob Crowe (12) was picked to play for WA in the 2007 Bruce Cup held in Tasmania. Jake also had impressive results on our NSW and VIC tour and backed his good form up at home playing No 1 in our undefeated 2008 A Grade junior Pennant team.

Both Partington and Crowe have just been rewarded with Tennis West Regional Academy selection and are off to Alice Springs in early April for events and then will head home for the WA Country Zone Challenge where they will each represent the Lower Great Southern Tennis Association in their age groups as No 1 Players.  Partington will then be a crucial Member of the Senior team for this event!

ROBERT PARTINGTON – Had an outstanding tournament in perth in October reaching the finals of the boys 16s singles. Partington also reached the 18s doubles final of the same event.

ATA players held a 5hr tennis-a-thon over the weekend as a fundraiser for their 2009 NSW and VIC Tennis Tour.
Players gained a minimum 10 sponsors to sponsor them for $2 per hour and then played matches for 5 hrs straight.  The players raised over $1700 for the tour.
